Curriculum forms the basis of any educational institution. But it alone does not suffice for the all round development of a child. For the balanced growth of the mental, physical, social, intellectual and educational aspect of a child, scholastic as well as co-scholastic activities play a predominant role. With the sole motive to enhance confidence, self esteem, leadership, creativity, team spirit, patriotism, sympathy, empathy in a child, various activities and competitions are conducted under the guidance and supervision of able hands, uplifting the areas of literature, art, music, dance, drama and technology - thus preparing the child to face the challenges of the world outside.
Ambe Days are uniquely designed to discover new ideas, share insight, transform perception and take action towards better learning. Every month has a comprehensive and meaningful days best suited to the local environment which are aimed at evoking interest, concern, curiosity, creativity etc. in the child. Ambe Days are so planned that information regarding the importance of day is provided and meaningful activities take place in form of celebration. There are certain Ambe Days which are celebrated for the whole year round as they form an integral part of human life.
Competitive contexts offer unique learning and growth opportunities. Students learn that success often requires effort and persistence, and that failure is a part of the learning process. This resilience is a valuable life skill that will serve them well beyond the classroom.
Teacher training, competence, and professionalism play an essential role in the success of student learning. In order to improve learning outcomes, it is essential we work on improving the quality of our teachers. Teachers are provided with relevant opportunities for self-growth, through workshop and seminars leading to positive influence in the performance of students. Parent Workshops -These workshops aim to bridge the gap between home and school by equipping parents with the knowledge, skills, and resources needed to support their children’s academic and personal development.
It serves as an opportunity for students to showcase their artistic flair through different modes of self-expression, music and dance performances, skits and plays, and other imaginative outlets.
The aim of Ambe Group of Schools is to offer holistic education by balancing academics with extracurricular activities. Our syllabus is planned to make learning less stressful for the students without compromising with the quality. School is more than just a place where children of various age groups spend time with each other, learning and honing their talents. That is why our school forms various clubs, that cater to various interests in the students. School clubs, offer the perfect outlet for the students to express their hidden talents and skills. After all, "All work and no play makes Jack a dull boy!"
Ambe Group of Schools always tries to do something different providing better learning environment to the students. Therefore, complying with the NEP-2020 we are organizing CLUB ACTIVITIES in the school curriculum for classes I to VIII, which includes an increased emphasis on co-curricular activities, critical thinking, communication, continuous review, creativity, and culture. All these aspects have to be driven by 5V's that include an emphasis on values, vedas, virtue, vocational education, and versatility.
School clubs create small communities. Club activities help students develop sense of unity and teamwork, learning how to work with others in reaching the same goals. They help learners develop social skills. Students learn from each other whether they are working on one project or separate projects.
To strengthen the academic knowledge and gain valuable skills, there are three clubs in classes I to VIII, wherein activites will be planned in each club class wise for each semester. The names of the school clubs will be as follows :-
The performance of the students in these clubs will be evaluated & graded on a 5 point grading scale as a separate subject namely 'School Club' and will be reflected in the report card.
For the students of classes I & II, a scrap book will be used to portray the club activities, while students of classes III to VIII will make use of project paper, colour paper or chart paper as per requirement for each club activity and make working and non-working models wherever needed for the display.
By participating in extracurricular activities students learn lessons in leadership, teamwork, organization, analytical thinking, problem solving, time management, learning to juggle multiple tasks at a time and it also allows them to discover their talents as well as helps in boosting their level of confidence & their sense of independence. Thus to avoid monotony, we focus more on skill based learning rather than rote learning.
Social initiatives are our way of giving back to the society at large. As a part of our commitment to the community service and social responsibility, school always shows concern for the society and keeps link with the community at large.
